Tigers Remain Second in Division III Women's Golf Coaches Poll

87091March 31, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. —  DePauw totaled 481 points and collected four first-place votes to rank second in the latest Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association Division III Women's Golf Poll. 

Methodist, the 11-time defending Division III champions, tops the poll with 15 first-place votes and 494 total points, while Williams is third with the remaining first-place vote and 448 points.

The Tigers, who won three tournaments in the fall and shared one last weekend, finished ahead of Methodist in the Charleston Southern Invitational and behind them in St. Mary's O'Brien National Invitational.

DePauw returns to action on April 7 when it competes in the Big Four Classic at Crooked Stick in Carmel.

The Tigers have appeared in nine consecutive NCAA Championships where they have finished in the top four seven times.
