Prof. Cleveland Hickman Authors Integrated Principles of Zoology

Hickman, professor of zoology and head of the department at DePauw University, has authored the largest and most comprehensive textbook in his field.  Integrated Principles of Zoology has been published by the C.V. Mosby Company of St. Louis.

Incorporating several unique features of form and content, the nearly 1,000 page book is the result of more than five years of steady labor by Dr. Hickman, a nationally recognized authority on zoology and physiology.

A member of the DePauw faculty since 1924, Professor Hickman is the author of five earlier texts, including Functional Human Anatomy and Physiological Hygiene. He received the A.B. degree from Salem College, the M.A. from the University of Michigan, and the Ph.D. from Princeton University.
