Prof. Bob Fletcher Awarded NSF Faculty Fellowship

100371April 12, 1961, Greencastle, Ind. — Robert I. Fletcher, assistant professor of bacteriology and advisor to the medical technology program at DePauw University, has been awarded a National Science Foundation Faculty Fellowship for 1961-62.  Fletcher, who is on a two-year leave of absence from DePauw, will use the award to complete requirements for his Ph.D. degree at Purdue University.

A veteran of World War II, Professor Fletcher is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Society of American Bacteriologists, the American Society for Microbiology, and Sigma Xi.
