"After the breathtaking conclusion of the 2001 game, one of the most dramatic games in a series which is known for nail-biting thrillers, we heard from fans who wanted a permanent copy for their collections, and that led DePauw to produce the first DVD," notes Ken Owen '82, executive director of media relations for the University. "The following year, we partnered with Wabash on the project which has become part of the annual Monon Bell tradition. It's a great keepsake for the students who play in the game and cheer in the stands, as well as for parents, alumni, and fans of great college football." [Download Video: "2008 Monon Memory" - 411kb]
"The commemorative DVD has become an important part of the tradition of the Monon Bell Classic," adds Jim Amidon, director of marketing at Wabash College. "Win or lose, the DVD captures in video and photo galleries everything that is special about the rivalry. The Monon Bell game provides a defining moment -- a signature memory -- each year and the DVD provides a chance to relive the moment for years to come." [Download Video: "1906 Monon Memory" - 4700kb]
