DePauw Blanks Oberlin to Improve to 6-2 in NCAC Play

October 8, 2011, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw improved to 15-7 overall and 6-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference following a 3-0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-17) win over Oberlin. The Yeowomen dropped to 0-18 overall and 0-7 in conference play.

DePauw hit .312 for the match and were led by Kelly Doyle's nine kills, while Brianna Holder totaled 26 assists. Alex Messner paced the team with five aces and shared the team digs lead with Tori Bowerman as each had seven.

Laure Jessee led Oberlin with six kills, while Jenna Bange had 14 assists and nine digs.

DePauw returns to action on October 15, when it faces Hiram and Ohio Wesleyan in matches at Wooster.
