Tigers Finish Second at NCAC Volleyball Tournament

Springfield, Ohio - DePauw advanced to the North Coast Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament championship match after a 3-1 win over Hiram, but finished second to Wittenberg after dropping a 3-0 decision to the third-ranked hosts.

The Tigers finished the regular season at 25-6 and will await word of a possible NCAA at-large berth. The Division III bracket will be released on Monday at 11 a.m. on a selection show on NCAA.com

DePauw opened the day with a 25-17, 16-25, 25-21, 25-18 victory over the Terriers as Lauren Falotico had 13 kills and Faith Rolwes 50 assists. Keely McGrath led the way with 21 digs and Rolwes had a team-high five blocks.

Ariel Pund paced Hiram with 14 kills with Tierra Moore leading with 47 assists. Danielle Day had 40 digs with Emily Mortimer totaling six blocks.

Wittenberg, 25-4, then blanked DePauw in the title match 25-12, 25-12, 25-17. The Tigers hit just .036 for the match and were led by Mary Kate Etling's five kills. Rolwes totaled 17 assists and three blocks with McGrath pacing the squad with 15 digs. 

Andrea Behling paced Wittenberg with 14 kills. four aces and six blocks with Hallie Donathan leading with 21 assists. Christine Gilene had a team-best 23 digs.
