DePauw Sends Off Seniors, Fall To Olivet

Greencastle, Ind. – The DePauw men’s lacrosse squad finished off its inaugural season of varsity play with a 22-7 loss at the hands of Olivet College on Saturday, May 4, at Boswell Field in Greencastle, Ind.

With the loss, the Tigers finish the season at 0-14, while Olivet moves to 10-7.

Jack Glerum netted three goals, adding an assist. Sam Johnson scored a pair of goals for the Tigers as Michael Strader and Cameron Combs rounded out the DePauw scoring. Greg Lambert and Austin Schile notched assists in the match.

James Collins led the Comets on the offensive end, scoring seven goals in the game. Cameron Bazin registered seven points in the game, finishing just one point shy of the century mark for the season.

DePauw was outshot by Olivet, 59-29, yet won four more faceoffs during the match. Olivet turned the ball over 15 times compared to DePauw’s 26.
