#25 DePauw Completes Weekend Sweep with 6-0 Victory at Knox

Galesburg, Ill. - The 25th-ranked Tigers capped a perfect weekend with an offensive outburst on the way to a 6-0 win at Knox. DePauw improved to 2-0, while the game was the season opener for the Prairie Fire.

Andy Morrison knocked in a pass from George Elliott in the ninth minute for what would be the game winner. Mitch Reavis followed with a blast from 30 feet before Matt Reda scored on an assist from Adrian Ables to make it 3-0 at 17:11. With just over 10 minutes remaining in the half, Jonathan Wheeler made it 4-0.

Julian Gonzalez scored both second-half goals  for the Tigers with the latter coming on a free kick.

DePauw outshot Knox, 19-7 overall and 12-1 on goal. Jacob Pezzuto and Chris Yount split time in goal for the shutout.

The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, September 4, when they host Franklin at 7 p.m.
