Tigers Shutout Rose-Hulman, Move to 5-0

Greencastle, Ind. - The 21st-ranked Tigers improved upon their unblemished season with a 2-0 victory over Rose-Hulman Sunday afternoon at Boswell Field. DePauw moved to 5-0, while the Engineers dropped to 1-1-1.
Andy Morrison started the scoring with an early goal in the sixth minute. Morrision’s blast proved to be the game winner. Freshman Julian Gonzalez notched his fourth goal of the season with an unassisted tally in the 78th minute.
With the win, DePauw has moved to 5-0 for the first time since 2010. Behind the strong play of goaltender Jacob Pezzuto the Tigers secured their fourth shutout of the season.
The Tigers held a 9-4 edge on shots and a 5-4 mark on corner kicks.
DePauw looks to stay perfect as they return to action Wednesday, September 11, at Hanover.
