DePauw in Second at Midway Point of Wabash Golf Classic

Crawfordsville, Ind. - DePauw shot an opening round 303 and is second, 10 strokes behind Rose-Hulman, after the first of two rounds of the Wabash Golf Classic at the Crawfordsville Country Club.

DePauw's Charlie Castino is tied for second after shooting a 74 which is six strokes behind Rose-Hulman's Sanders Park who fired a two-under 68. Eric Tandy shot a 75 and is tied for fifth. Stu Alvey and Brandon Bekkering are tied for 19th at 77, while Quinn Smith is tied for 25th with a 78.

Playing as individuals, Sean Steinman shot a 76 to tie for eighth followed by Nick Nunley and Ryan White with 79s, Sawyer Opalich (84), Drake Dunaway (86).

The second and final round takes place tomorrow.
