Tigers Dominate; Wills Reaches 100 Career Victories

Greencastle, Ind.- The Tigers dominated from start to finish in route to a 6-0 victory over North Coast Athletic Conference foe Oberlin College.
With the win DePauw improved to 12-4 overall and 10-1 in the NCAC, while the Yeowomen dropped to 4-10 overall and 3-8 in NCAC play.
The Tigers got off to an early start scoring in just the sixth minute when Grace Fisher scored on a pass from Maggie Campbell. Fisher added a second goal on an assist from Paige Henry. Henry knocked in a first-half goal on an assist from Kate Jovanovic.
Ahead 3-0 at the half DePauw kept up the offensive pressure scoring just one minute into the second-half when Henry scored an unassisted goal. Addie Ball added a goal on a Micheline Figel penalty corner and Campbell knocked in the sixth Tiger goal on an unassisted strike.
The 6-0 victory gives DePauw head coach Gina Wills her 100th career win. Wills, who is in her seventh year as the Tigers’ coach, has compiled a 100-36 record and led DePauw to the 2012 NCAA tournament semifinals.
DePauw is back in action Wednesday, October 23, when they travel to Richmond, Ind. to take on Earlham. This NCAC contest is scheduled for 6 p.m.Back
