Adam Kennedy '46 Authors Love Song, Dedicates it to Prof. Fred Bergmann

October 15, 1976, Greencastle, Ind. - Adam Kennedy, a 1946 graduate of DePauw University, has dedicated his seventh novel, Love Song, to Fred Bergmann, professor and head of the English department at DePauw.

Published by Viking Press, Love Song follows Kennedy's The Domino Principle, which is scheduled to be released as a motion picture next spring starring Richard Widmark, Mickey Rooney, Edward Albert and Eli Wallach.  The book has been translated into 12 languages and was #1 on the Chicago Tribune's best-seller list last July.

Jack "Adam" Kennedy, who double-majored in English and studio art, has also had a successful career as an actor and has appeared in twelve movies, 300 episodes of television shows (including The Californians and The Doctors), and in seven plays on Broadway and in Europe. 

In 1974, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Literature degree from DePauw.
