13th-ranked Tigers Top Number 12 Bears

Elsah, Ill. - The 13th-ranked Tigers opened the spring season against 12th-ranked Washington-St. Louis and came away with a 6-3 victory.

DePauw jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles as the three Tigers tandems dropped just eight games.

Collecting singles wins for the Tigers were Maggie MacPhail at the first spot by a 7-5, 6-4 score over Jamie Silverberg, Claire Marshall at second singles by a 6-2, 6-0 count over Aly Coran and Maddie Lee 6-3, 6-1 against Evelyn Qin.

The 2-0 Tigers return to action when they host Olivet Nazarene on Thursday, February 20, at 4:30 p.m.
