January 6, 2015

Austin D. Brown, an agent with CAA (Creative Artists Agency) Sports and a 2007 graduate of DePauw University, is listed among Forbes magazine's "30 Under 30: The Sports World's Brightest Young Stars."

Chris Smith writes that "off the field of play are the executives and entrepreneurs running things behind the scenes ... CAA’s Austin Brown represents three top-40 NBA draft picks."

The profile of Brown, a communication major at DePauw, notes, "In 2014 Brown was responsible for signing two top-40 NBA draft picks, Michigan State’s Gary Harris and Michigan’s Glenn Robinson III. The year before, Brown signed No. 9 overall selection Trey Burke, who went on to earn NBA All-Rookie first team honors and finish third in rookie of the year voting."
