"Soul Blues" Singer Tad Robinson Performs at the Inn Friday

Tad Robinson, placed by DownBeat magazine "near the top of the list of finest living singers of soul blues," will perform this Friday, April 10, on the DePauw University campus.  Robinson, who has been nominated for seven blues music awards since 2005, will celebrate the release of his new album, Day Into Night, in a 7:30 p.m. performance at the Inn at DePauw.

The concert, which is presented free of charge, will feature Robinson backed by his six-piece band. Special guests Dave Specter and Grammy Award-nominee Jimmy Johnson will also perform.

The event is presented by DePauw's Performing Arts Series. There will be a cash bar for patrons age 21 and over, and the Fluttering Duck will serve food.
