Wall Street Journal Appoints Jason Anders '97 Business Editor

Jason M. Anders, a 1997 graduate of DePauw University, has been appointed business editor of the Wall Street Journal. A 17-year veteran of the newspaper, Anders most recently has been deputy page one editor, "where he has driven our daily news coverage and helped shepherd some of the Journal’s most ambitious enterprise projects, including last year’s Pulitzer-winning 'Medicare Unmasked' series," editor Gerard Baker said.

One of the Journal's first online reporters and formerly technology editor for the paper, Anders began his career at the Chicago Tribune. An English major at DePauw, he interned with the Detroit News as a junior and served as editor-in-chief of The DePauw his senior year.
