Faculty Development Awards and University Recognitions

Some Faculty Development awards (Fisher Course Reassignments, Fisher Fellowships, and Faculty Fellowships) and other university recognitions (University Professorships and endowed Chairs) carry some combination of salary supplements, project expense funds, professional expense funds, and reassigned time (see the chart below for details).  Faculty members may not hold more than one award in the Meritorious or Project category, except that faculty members on sabbatical may simultaneously hold a Faculty Fellowship. If one of these Faculty Development awards is given concurrently with university recognition, the faculty member must choose which one he or she will accept.
