Supplemental Conference Fund

Deadline: First come, first served pending availability of funds.

Purpose: A separate fund exists for professional meetings sponsored by the Great Lakes Colleges Association (GLCA), PKAL, CUR and Midwest Faculty Seminars. Support is available on a first-come first-served basis for faculty members. The application process for these funds varies and interested faculty members are required to:

  • Contact the Dean of Faculty if you are interested in a specific program.

  • Reimbursement will normally be made for mileage at $.625 per mile, meal per diem ($51 day), and registration fees.

  • Submit receipts directly to Becky Wallace (facdev@depauw.edu) immediately following conference participation.

  • If you discover at the last minute that you cannot attend a meeting, notify Becky Wallace so your registration can be canceled, thus preventing the University from being billed.

Eligibility: All teaching faculty members are eligible. For details see "Faculty Categories and Eligibility for Funding."

Reporting Process: Receipts for all expenses (except for meals) and a completed accounting reimbursement voucher worksheet must be submitted to Becky Wallace within four weeks of returning from the conference for reimbursement.

To receive the presentation credit a copy of the paper, a copy of the printed program or link to the online program in which your name appears, or a description of your professional outreach activities must be submitted to Becky Wallace (facdev@depauw.edu).
