Rector Village

Suite-style living for upperclass students

Rector Village is comprised of seven small, suite-style residence halls. Completed in 2004, Rector Village was built to replace Rector Hall, which was destroyed during a fire in April of 2002.

Each hall in Rector Village features a suite for 4 or 8 upperclass students, complete with full kitchens and living rooms.

  • Eight-person suites have single rooms and two and a half bathrooms. These include the following buildings: Chabraja, Leis, Montgomery, Reese and Warne Halls
  • Four-person suites have four single rooms with one and a half bathrooms. These include the following buildings: Holmberg and Strasma Halls.

Each suite has a full kitchen that provides students with individual lockers for food storage. The living room area is furnished with several pieces of furniture. The main building of Rector Village - Reese Hall - houses a common space accessible to all students for events, meeting and socializing as well as laundry facilities for residents of Rector Village and University-Owned Apartments and Houses.

Students living in Rector Village are required to be on a meal plan, but they have the option of downgrading to a smaller meal plan. For information on meal plans, please contact the ID/One Card Office, located on the lower-level of the Memorial Student Union Building.
