Climate
 |
We want to be carbon neutral by 2040. Neutral, as in zero carbon pollution. Ambitious? Absolutely.
|
Energy
Each year DePauw participates in Campus Conservation Nationals, a nationwide effort to reduce energy usage. Competition gets pretty spirited at DePauw. Here, we simply call it Energy Games.

Eco-Reps
 |
Eco-Reps gives students the tools to be sustainability leaders on campus and in society. It's fun too. Learn more about Eco-Reps like Samantha Mullenax 15'.

DePauw Environmental Policy Project (DEPP)
DEPP is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to spend a semester at the Indiana legislature researching and testifying on environmental issues. They've had plenty of adventures over the years.

Community Bikes

|
Since their 2012 release, Community Bikes are available to DePauw students and Greencastle community members to rent. The Inn at DePauw is the place to rent these handy bicycles.

Recycling
DePauw University prides itself on the recycling program. From plastics #1-7 to batteries and old light bulbs, DePauw recycles it. Last year alone, we recycled 23,452 pounds of shredded paper.
