Information for the Spring 2014 Elections

We are pleased to inform you about the upcoming DePauw Student Government external elections for 2014-2015.  Click here to view internal elections.  Candidates may run for the positions are listed below: 

 6 Executive positions

  • Student Body President
  • Executive Vice President
  • Vice President of Student Life
  • Vice President of Academic Affairs
  • Vice President of Community Relations
  • Vice President of Allocations

5 Allocation Board Members

15 Senators Positions

  • 5 seniors
  • 5 juniors
  • 5 sophomores

2 Graduate Positions

  • Graduate member to the Alumni Board
  • Graduate member to the Board of Trustees 

Application Dates and Deadlines

                     2014 Elections Timeline 
March 31, 2014 Election packets are available online (download PDF here) and in UB 210
April 9, 2014 Election packets must be completed and turned in at UB 210
April 14, 2014 Application deadline extended!  Election packets must be in by 4:15 in UB 210.
April 10, 2014 Campaigning begins
April 23,  2014 Presentation of Platforms and Presidential Debate at 4pm in Meharry Hall
April 24, 2014 Voting booths will open on E-Services.  Voting closes Saturday, April 26 at 11:59 PM
April 27, 2014 Candidates will be notified.


Internal Elections

The remaining DePauw Student Government positions will be elected at our last Assembly Meeting of the semester on Sunday, May 4th, 2014 at 7pm prior to the Inauguration.  Applications (download PDF here) are due Wednesday, April 30th at 4:15 PM in UB 210.

Internal elections includes:

  • Director of Public Relations
  • Secretary
  • Parliamentarian
