Tenure Reviews
Jennifer Adams - Communication & Theatre
Angela Castañeda - Sociology & Anthropology
Robert Dewey - History
Angela Flury - English
Jason Fuller - Religious Studies
Jinyu Liu - Classical Studies
Richard Martoglio - Chemistry & Biochemistry
Lori Miles - Art

Joyce Dixon-Fyle - Librarian
Tiffany Hebb - Librarian
Bruce Sanders - Librarian
Misti Shaw - Librarian
Interim Reviews
Cheira Belguellaoui - Modern Languages
Maria Forcadell - Modern Languages
Kellin Stanfield - Economics & Management
Christina Wagner - Psychology
Zhixin Wu - Mathematics
If you have information you would like to share about your experience with any of these faculty members, please write to the Committee On Faculty (a faculty-governed committee which makes recommendations to the President regarding personnel decisions), c/o Carol Cox, Academic Affairs, 305 Harrison Hall, or via email to COFcoord@depauw.edu by the following deadlines:
For Tenure review candidates by August 31, 2009
For Term review candidates by September 14, 2009
For Interim review candidates by October 5, 2009
Because of the University’s open file policy, the candidate will see all such submissions. Thus, you are asked either to indicate your awareness of this in your letter, or to complete and attach an open file form which can be obtained at the COF website: http://www.depauw.edu/acad/facgov/COFFiles/COF.asp or in the Office of Academic Affairs, 305 Harrison Hall.
The most helpful letters are those confined to personal experience of the letter writer. Since the criteria for review cover a broad set of categories spread over teaching, professional development, and service, your letter should only speak to your first-hand experience with the faculty member under review. It is neither helpful nor appropriate for a letter writer to make a recommendation for the outcome (e.g., granting tenure or promotion) since that implies a judgment based on incomplete information. A formal recommendation will be made by the review committees upon examination of all lines of evidence contained in the decision file.
