OUR MISSION: The Wellness Center supports the academic success, physical health and mental well being of all students by providing the highest quality services in a timely and confidential manner.

Counseling Services is part of the Wellness Center, located on the first floor of Hogate Hall at 800 S. Locust St. Counseling Services is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is no charge for counseling and other services provided by the counseling staff. If provided by off-campus professional, then fees are charged for psychiatric evaluations, medication evaluations and long-term counseling.

Please note: Counselors treat all students with respect regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age or counseling concern.

The DePauw Cybervisor! [access it here]

Our newest service, the DePauw Cybervisor, has opened!  It allows for unique, anonymous communication between us and DePauw students! Submit a question anonymously, and have it answered by our staff. Even if you don't want to submit a question, the past questions are categorized and archived for easy navigation.  Try it out!

EMAIL POLICY

Counseling Services wants you to be aware that communication via email is not a secure form of communication.  Emails received from students and counselor's responses may be included in Counseling Services client files for documentation of communication.

In case of an emergency, email SHOULD NOT be used.  Counseling staff members vary in the frequency of checking and responding to email.  The quickest way to reach a counselor is either by coming to the office (The Wellness Center) or by calling Counseling Center on the phone (x4268).  After hours, a counselor can be reached through the Public Safety dispatch (x4261).
