Peer Education & Wellness

GEAR
Greek Educators, Advocates, and Resources

GEAR is a peer education program in the Greek houses at DePauw University. Members of GEAR are trained to be resources and models to their peers, providing education, support, and referrals that promote wellness and well-being for their chapter members. Gear members receive on-going training on mental health issues and campus resources so they can act as an advocate and educator. If you are interested in becoming a GEAR member, utilizing their services, or gaining further information about the program, please contact Sara Swift Tharpe (x4268).

Visit the GEAR site under Greek Affairs for access to forms for GEAR reps.

The GEAR program strives to promote wellness and well-being in Greek chapters and on DePauw’s campus as a whole.
