Opening Day for first-year students. Check-in from 8 a.m. to Noon
 

Sunday, August 23
 

Opening Day for upper class students. Check-in from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, October 17 - Sunday, October 25

Fall Break: All housing remains open.
 

Wednesday, November 25 - Sunday, November 29
 

Thanksgiving Break: Residence halls, including Rector Village, close at 9:00AM on Nov. 25 and reopen at noon on Nov. 29. UOAH housing remains open

Friday, December 18 - Sunday, January 3

 

Winter Break: Residence halls, including Rector Village, close at 8:00PM on Dec. 18 and reopen at noon on Jan. 3.Students who wish to apply for an extension until 9am on Dec. 19 must do so in the Residence Life and Housing Office by Dec. 7. UOAH housing remains open.

Spring Break: All housing remains open. 

Thursday, May 13
 

End of the Year Closing: Residence halls close at 6 p.m. for students not participating in commencement.* Students who wish to apply for an extension until 9am on Friday, May 14 must do so in the Residence Life and Housing Office by Monday, May 3. 

Monday, May 17
 

End of the Year Closing: All remaining University housing closes at 11 a.m.

*Residence halls are used for housing families of graduating seniors during commencement weekend and therefore must be closed immediately following the end of exams for students not participating in commencement in order to prepare rooms for the weekend.
