Opening Day for first-year students. Check-in from 8 a.m. to Noon
 

Sunday, August 23
 

Opening Day for upper class students. Check-in from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday, October 17 - Sunday, October 25

Fall Break: All housing remains open.
 

Wednesday, November 25 - Sunday, November 29
 

Thanksgiving Break: Residence Halls and Rector Village will close for break. Students who wish to remain on campus must register with the Residence Life and Housing Office during the time in which the university is closed no later than November 18th. Registration forms are available in the Residence Life Office as well as on the webpage. UOAH housing remains open.

Friday, December 18 - Tuesday, January 5

 

Winter Break: Residence halls, including Rector Village, close at 8:00PM on Dec. 18 and reopen at noon on Jan. 5. Students who wish to apply for an extension until 9am on Dec. 19 must do so in the Residence Life and Housing Office by Dec. 7. UOAH housing remains open. 
Monday, March 1 – Friday, March 19 Registration for Housing Lottery on e-Services (for students returning for 2010-2011 academic year)

Friday, March 19 – Sunday, March 28
 

Spring Break: All housing remains open. 

Thursday, May 20
 

End of the Year Closing: Residence halls close at 6 p.m. for students not participating in commencement.* Students who wish to apply for an extension until 9am on Friday, May 21 must do so in the Residence Life and Housing Office by Monday, May 3. 

Monday, May 24
 

End of the Year Closing: All remaining University housing closes at 11 a.m.

*Residence halls are used for housing families of graduating seniors during commencement weekend and therefore must be closed immediately following the end of exams for students not participating in commencement in order to prepare rooms for the weekend.
