Welcome to the Multicultural and Community Life Office. Our office was created in the summer of 2008 by merging the Campus Activities and Multicultural Affairs Offices.

Our Mission:

We support the mission of the University by building community that encourages leadership and development through which all community members are supported and affirmed.

We do this by:

  • Challenging the DePauw University community to embrace the rich diversity of identities and affinities present at DePauw and in the world.
  • Advocating for all students by supporting and affirming them in their identity development.
  • Encouraging intellectual growth and promoting a social life that is consistent with the intellectual life of the institution.

Our office provides support for all of DePauw's Student Organizations and works closely with the Association for African-American Students (AAAS), the Association of Students Interested in Asia (ASIA), the Committee for Latino Concerns (CLC), the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance (FMLA), the International Student Association (ISA), Men of Excellence in Cross Cultural Alliance (MECCA), Student Congress, Union Board, and United DePauw.

Our staff is happy to review the Student Organization Contract Policy with student organization leadership, as they plan their events.

Recognized student organizations interested in sponsoring events at the Den (located in Longden Hall), or using the Den’s DJ system, should email Ann Malloy or Vince Greer .
