At the beginning and end of official University breaks, the Multicultural and Community Life Office offers a shuttle service to and from the Indianapolis Airport (and upon request, the Indianapolis Bus/Train station and Megabus Stop).

Students who wish to use this shuttle are advised to consult the shuttle schedule prior to booking any airline reservations.  Space is limited. Please remember to allow one hour for shuttle transportation to the airport, plus 90-120 minutes for check-in and security clearance once you reach the airport.

SCHEDULE

CHARGES
Shuttle service is $25.00 one way and $50.00 round trip, charged directly to the student's account in the business office at the time the reservation is made, payable in the Cash Receipts Office. Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable; an unused ticket may be used at a later date.  You must go to the Multicultural and Community Life Office in Room 100 of the Memorial Student Union Building at least seven days in advance of travel to purchase your ticket for the shuttle service. Please have your DePauw Student ID with you.  (For students returning in August, students may email Beth Ann Newton banewton@depauw.edu or call 765-658-4850 to make reservations.) Continuing service to the Indianapolis bus and train station is available.  Please indicate your need for this option when you purchase your ticket(s).  

LEAVING DEPAUW
Shuttle Service is provided by Star of America Charter Service. When departing from the Union Building, the vehicle will be arrive to load baggage at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to departure.  Departure is PROMPTLY at the times listed; shuttles will not be "held" for late passengers. 

LEAVING THE AIRPORT
When using the shuttle to leave the Airport, the driver will stop to load passengers at the Ground Transportation Hub, generally near the area marked "Zone 1 - Charter Buses."  Because of security regulations, it is important that passengers be waiting OUTSIDE the Ground Transportation Hub ten (10) to (20) minutes prior to departure, as the driver is allowed to stop the vehicle ONLY when passengers are loading.  When making return reservations on the shuttle, be mindful to allow time for the aircraft to taxi to the terminal and baggage to be collected; shuttles will not be "held" for late passengers. If a passenger misses a scheduled shuttle due to a flight delay, the passenger should contact DePauw Public Safety at 765-658-4800 to request a later shuttle that day. Passengers who miss the last shuttle offered that day are responsible for arranging alternate transportation, such as a taxi.

CANCELLATIONS
Shuttle service may be cancelled if there are no reservations made two days prior to travel.  Please consult this website for the most recent updates to the schedule. Contact Multicultural and Community Life at (765) 658-4850 if you have questions.

OTHER OPTIONS
If the shuttle schedule provided does not meet an individual student's needs, we would suggest contacting Castle Cab in Greencastle, at 765-653-TAXI, or Eric Walker Transporation at 317-590-0500. Both offer discounts to DePauw students.
