Putnam County Rural Transit is available to Putnam County residents and DePauw University students, staff, and faculty. The cost of the fare is only .75 cents per ride! Monthly bus passes are also available for $15.00. The service is available from 5:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Greencastle Express service includes stops at DePauw University, Ivy Tech State College, Putnam County Hospital, Putnam County Comprehensive Services, Putnam Senior Center, Aldi, Kroger, Wal-Mart, and other Shopping Centers. Putnam County Rural Transit also provides a vehicle that is ADA compliant with a wheelchair lift.
