Theta Alpha Theta

The object of Theta Alpha Theta fraternity is to create and fortify ties of friendship formed between people of congenial temperaments and mutal interest, that through their college years, and in after years, they may be of assistance, gladly and cheerfully rendered, to one another. Viewed more broadly, history is made by fraternal action undertaken by combined bodies of determined people. Throughout time, indefatigable people have come together for the sake for change and the good of all; and when their cause has been just they have met with success.

Theta Alpha Theta of DePauw desires to create a unified frathernity that promotes the ideas of unity, loyalty, scholarship, integrity, and siblinghood.

Unity: Theta Alpha Theta seeks to create a fraternity that embraces, respects, and values individuality and diversity never dividing on the grounds of race, color, ethnicity, physical appearance, national origin, religion, sex, disability, age, medical condition, ancestry, marital status, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

Loyalty: Theta Alpha Theta seeks to create a strong bond between member and fraternity by fostering non-obligatory participation in the organization and its activities.

Scholarship: Theta Alpha Theta acknowledges its position within an academic community, always placing a high premium in all scholarship and intellectual pursuits.

Integrity: Theta Alpha Theta encourages its members to conduct themselves with honor and accountability in all matters to set both in and out of the fraternity.

Siblinghood: Theta Alpha Theta promotes a strong spirit of siblinghood in its community through mutual respect and support in all its members.
