Union Board strives to provide diverse, substance-free programming and entertainment for the greater DePauw and Greencastle community. It is organized and run by an executive board comprised soley of DePauw University students, with the guidance of a faculty advisor. The main goals held by this organization and its members are: to enhance and promote substance-free activities offered on campus, to establish strong ties with other campus organizations as well as with the surrounding community, to widen the amount of diverse programming offered so as to reach out to students of various interests and backgrounds, and to increase the amount of student invovlement and input in the events that U.B. brings to campus.

U.B. is one of the largest and most highly funded organizations at DePauw and it continues to attempt to broaden its reach so it can serve the student body as effectively as it can. In the past, U.B. has organized a number of different events and programs ranging from concerts, comedians, and transgender performers to trips, blood drives, and community service related projects. This organization is always ope to input from students and faculty and host weekly all board meetings to which anyone can attend. These meetings are every Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Union Building fishbowl room.
