September 1st, 2005

Parking along Locust St. at the Union Building has been reassigned to a 10 minute parking area.  This designation is due to increased use of the Union Building and the relocation of several service departments, such as: The Helpdesk, Dell Store, Printing Services, and University Mail Services.  It is intended to allow students, faculty and staff ease of use of the Union Building Offices.

The street parking just East of the Anderson Angled parking has been reassigned to "No Student Parking 7a-4p"  These six spaces have been changed to accommodate the increased staff in the Union Building.

Spaces have been identified for Faculty/Staff in the Hanna St. Lot and Poplar St. Lot.  These spaces are marked with yellow signs stating Faculty/Staff.  Please be careful when you park and avoid these areas.

Wellness Center Parking Only spaces will be designated in the Humbert Lot to assist students in parking when they need to visit the Wellness Center.

Campus Community,

The Admissions' Lot, located directly East of the Admissions Office, has been designated as Admission's Visitor parking only until May 1st, 2005.  Due to the high volume of Admissions Visitors at this time of year, and the congestion of the Emison Art Building Project, we ask for your cooperation in refraining from parking in this area until after May 1st.  Alternative parking areas include: the lot directly West of the library or the Olin Building Parking Lot. Any questions may be referred to the Public Safety Office at X4261.

Fall 2004

Rector Village parking is open for "R" permits.  There are 75 parking spaces available to students living in any DePauw owned residential facility.

The South side of Anderson St. angled parking has been reassigned to Faculty Staff.  Both sides of Anderson St. angled parking are now assigned to Faculty Staff.  These 17 spaces will help to relieve the need for Faculty/Staff parking around East College, the Administration Building, Anderson St. Hall, and the Union Building.

Resident students will gain approximately 58 spaces in the North Quad area by the new assignments.

We recommend students review this website, and/or call the Public Safety office with any questions about parking designation.  658-4261.

Public Safety working daily to install a new enhanced parking management program related to the University Administrative Upgrade.

Additional information will be announced soon, however there are two points that will be beneficial to students;

  •  they can register their vehicles through student e-services
  •  they will receive a notification on their e-service if they receive a ticket with information about the violation and the appeals process.
