Educational and Awareness Programs

Public Safety offers several programs to the university community, aimed at the education, awareness and prevention of crime. Programming in the areas of personal safety, sexual assault awareness prevention and response, alcohol abuse, narcotics and dangerous drugs, traffic safety and parking regulations, fire safety and theft prevention are only a few of those available. The escort program, bicycle registration, personal property engraving, security analysis and surveys are also examples of services designed to aid in the prevention of crime.  Programs are available upon request and periodically presented to Residence Life, Greek leadership, and the broader University community.

Fire Safety Program "Smoke House" Bowman Park, Thrusday September 6th, noon to 4p.m.  Everyone's invited to attend this program sponsored by the Greencastle Fire Department

Kelley and Becca: A Sexual Assault Awareness Program.Tuesday October 30th, 7pm, Kresge Auditorium This program is partially funded by the CARe, Communities Against Rape Initiative through the Indiana State Department of Health, CDC, rape prevention education grant.

Greek Risk managers Series: First Wednesday every Month at 4:30 pm, Julian 147

Sexual Assault Task Force: Starting in the fall and every other Wednesday after in the Union Building Fish Bowl.
