The University and Ashley Square Cinema have reached an agreement allowing all DePauw students to see movies for free or at a greatly reduced cost at the theater. Starting this Friday, January 11, anyone with a valid DePauw student ID can get into movies on Friday or Saturday for just $1. All other movies are free with valid DePauw student ID. In addition, the theater is offering students 50% off all concessions at any time. This week the theater is showing: Alvin and the Chipmunks and I am Legend. Show times are Friday at 7 and 9:15 p.m., Saturday at 1, 4, and 7 p.m., Sunday at 1, 4, and 6:30 p.m., closed on Monday, and Tuesday through Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Beginning January 18, 27 Dresses, starring Katherine Heigl, will replace Alvin and the Chipmunks.
