Monon Bell reminder

With Monon Bell weekend approaching, Student Services wants to encourage you to make safe, healthy and intentional decisions.

  • Let your friends know that you “have their back” and ask them to do the same for you.
  • If you choose to drink, do so responsibly.
  • Just because you may normally feel safe in Greencastle and on DePauw’s campus, do not develop a false sense of security.

Most importantly, KNOW YOUR RESOURCES!
When in doubt, call Public Safety at 765.658.4261. For more resources, click here.

DePauw Hunger banquet

Wednesday, November 14
4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Union Building Ballroom

A unique and memorable event, the Oxfam America Hunger banquet allows organizers and participants alike to experience firsthand how our decisions affect others in the world. After an Oxfam America Hunger banquet, few participants leave with full stomachs, but all possess a greater understanding of the problems of hunger and poverty and will hopefully be motivated to do something about them. What is Oxfam? Oxfam America is an international relief and development organization that creates lasting solutions to poverty, hunger and injustice. Together with individuals and local groups in more than 120 countries, Oxfam saves lives, helps people overcome poverty and fights for social justice. Anyone wishing to attend this event should register via evite invitation. You can email depauwhungerbanquet@gmail.com to request an invitation.

This event is open to the entire DePauw community and all residents of Putnam County. While everyone is welcome, children under 14 will probably not enjoy the same experience as older teens and adults.
