Student Services DeBlog |
|
In an effort to increase overall communication and capitalize on technology that speaks to students, various staff in the Division of Student Services will be contributing to the Student Services DeBlog. Most bloggers in the cyberverse write from their own perspectives and their postings reflect their experiences and points of view; thus, the postings represent the opinions of individual contributors and not necessarily the University. This type of communication is meant to be "off the cuff", informal and accessible. As contributors, we welcome comments by phone, in person or via email.

Iraq War Film Series: "9/11: Press for Truth"
A story of the fight for truth by those closest to the tragedy, and a scathing critique of the mainstream media, which refuses to connect the dots, '9/11: Press For Truth' distinguishes itself from a crowded field of documentaries offering conspiracy narratives and mind-numbing replays of the catastrophic images of the day.
Directed by Ray Nowosielski, '9/11: Press For Truth' is an unblinking examination of the failure of the 9/11 Commission and the press to adequately address many troubling questions that still haunt the families, five years after that tragic day.
'9/11: Press For Truth' features exclusive interviews with the families of 9/11 victims, including the Jersey Girls and 9/11 researcher Paul Thompson, author of The Terror Timeline", which pieces together stories from over 7000 media reports about 9/11. In the film, Thompson fills in the gaps of mainstream media coverage, presenting little-known published reports that, woven together, put the lie to the official story of 9/11.
FREE & open to the public.
