Meet Chris Mahnken

"I am a junior Psychology major with Chemistry minor.  On campus, I am the President of Sigma Chi Fraternity, the Captain of the Rugby team, pole-vault for the DePauw Track and Field team, and am a member of Science Research Fellows. In the past I have served on the Hazing Task Force, served as the Vice President of Member Education on the InterFraternity Council, Social Chairman of Sigma Chi Fraternity, member of Men Against Rape, and DJ for WGRE among other projects and organization involvement.  At DePauw, I really enjoy the small classrooms that provide for very intellectual and involved discussions. These classes, though often outside of my own personal major, are always enlightening and I promote others to take classes outside of their study.  DePauw University has the wonderful quality of being a liberal arts college with a rare faculty, which allows for students to be transformed from the monotonous teaching of high school into the well rounded intellectuals needed for the contemporary world. My plans for post-graduation are to either jump into the field of Biomedical or Orthopedic Sales, or possibly to continue with my education and receive a MB and work in upper level sales and management in a medical related company."
