Sexual Misconduct
Sexual Assault and relationship violence are major problems on college campuses across the country. Recognizing that one in four college-aged women and one in 20 college-age men will be raped or sexually assaulted and that 25 percent of women will be in a violent relationship during their college years, the DePauw Task Force on Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence aims to provide quality service to students who are affected by violence.
Through the work of the Task Force and the Sexual Assault Response Team, DePauw has developed a comprehensive array of services, including counseling, advocacy, accommodations, health services and exams, protective orders, mediation and judicial options both on and off-campus.
A student survivor or victim may initially seek help from one of several sources. S/he may seek help from only one sources or may utilize as many as the sources s/he desires.
