Upperclass Housing Application Timeline

Important dates & to dos for housing application processes

Students have the choice of increasing their level of autonomy and responsibility as they move through their DePauw career.  Rather than focusing on where you live, our housing places an emphasis on who you live with and how you learn together.

The upperclass housing application process is almost here.  Beginning on February 28, rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors can apply for housing for next semester.  Recognizing that who you live with is more important than where you live, students are encouraged to apply in even numbered groups of up to 10 students.  Sophomore students are eligible to live in our upperclass residence halls: Anderson Street Hall, Bloomington Streeet Hall, Mason Hall, and Senior Hall.  Juniors and seniors are eligible to live in apartments and houses in addition to the upperclass residence halls.  Here are some important dates for the upperclass housing process:

A link to the online applications will be placed on this page once the applications are open on the 28th.  Only one student needs to fill out the application on behalf of each entire group.  No applications will be considered until after the due date so there is no advantage to submitting an application early.  Placements will be made first based on the size of the groups applying.  Within those groups, preference will be given to those applications with the greatest number of rising seniors.

Students in organizations that do not already have a permanent residential facility (such as a chapter house) can also apply for housing with other members of their organization.  All students applying for the group must be members of the organization.  This application will be available for download on this site at 10 am on the 28th.
