The Interfraternity Council is the governing council for the chapters of ten inter/national men's fraternities on DePauw’s campus.
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing council for the chapters of ten inter/national men's fraternities on DePauw’s campus, comprised of representatives from each of the ten fraternities as well as executive officers. Those organizations are:
• Alpha Tau Omega
• Beta Theta Pi
• Delta Tau Delta
• Delta Upsilon
• Phi Delta Theta
• Phi Gamma Delta
• Phi Kappa Psi
• Sigma Alpha Epsilon
• Sigma Chi
• Sigma Nu
As the governing body for these ten organizations, IFC establishes procedures for cooperation among fraternities and coordinates recruitment, leadership programs, and other activities. IFC is committed to leading the fraternity men of DePauw into a positive future and bettering the atmosphere of not only the Fraternity and Sorority community, but the university as a whole.

IFC Formal Recruitment, Spring 2014
Listed below are details on the Interfraternity Council Formal Recruitment process for the Spring of 2014:
Formal Recruitment GPA Requirement: 2.5 GPA
Deadline (extended from 12/20/13): Wednesday, January 15th, midnight
Formal Recruitment Schedule Overview:
Sunday January 26th (Round 1)
Potential New Members (PNMs) will visit all ten IFC chapters beginning at 11 am on Sunday morning. Each visit will be 35 minutes long. PNMs will be expected to report to Julian Math and Science Building to meet prior to visiting their first chapter. PNM's are should dress casually and wear comfortable shoes, with the expectation for cold weather.
Friday January 31st (Round 2)
PNMs will visit up to five chapters. Each visit will be 50 minutes long.
Saturday February 1st (Final Round)
PNMs will visit up to two chapters beginning at 6:30 pm. Visits will last one hour and ten minutes. Chapters and PNM's will make selections following the two minutes and PNM's will receive their "bids."
After the mutual selection process of bid matching occurs, chapters will welcome their new members for Bid Night.
