Meet the Staff
Myrna Hernandez
Director of Campus Living & Community Development
Myrna has worked at DePauw since 2006. She graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Education and was a Spanish teacher upon receiving her degree. She returned to Indiana University and completed her M.S. in Education with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration. She worked in Residence Life at East Carolina University, University of Wisconsin - Madison, and Minnesota State University - Mankato before coming to DePauw. Myrna grew up in Portage, Indiana.
Wendy Wippich
Assistant Director of Campus Living and Community Development
Wendy has been the worked at DePauw since August 2007. She earned her B.A. from DePauw with a major in Art History and Religious Studies. After graduation, she earned her M.A. in Education, with a focus on College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University where she was a Graduate Living Center Director. After completing her graduate degree, she went on to work at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a Residence Director.
JC Lopez
Assistant Director/Area Coordinator for First Year Area, Coordinator for Hogate and Longden Halls
JC has been at DePauw since the fall of 2008. He graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts concentrating in Graphic Design. After graduation, he worked as a Leadership Consultant for the National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho. JC then earned his M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where he worked in Residence Life with Living Learning Programs.
Amanda Halfacre
Area Coordinator for Upperclass Areas
Amanda has worked at DePauw since October 2011. She earned her B.A. from Iowa State University with a major in Women's Studies and a minor in Sociology. After graduation, she earned her M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University. Amanda is originally from Urbandale, Iowa.
PJ Mitchell
Greek Life Coordinator
PJ has worked at DePauw University since August 2006. He earned his B.A. from DePauw with a major in Communications. Upon graduation, he earned a masters of arts in sports management from Indiana State University, while serving as a graduate assistant baseball coach for DePauw. PJ has spent the past five years working in DePauw's athletic department, functioning in various roles and has previously served as the house director for Beta Theta Pi fraternity. PJ is originally from Clarendon Hills, IL.
Eric Wolfe
Greek Life Coordinator
Eric is a graduate of DePauw University where he became affilitated with the Lambda Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji). He served five years as a chapter advisor for Phi Gamma Delta. Eric has been involved with the re-vitalization and recolonization of chapters in Indiana and frequently speaks at fraternity workshops and conferences. He worked for six years as the Director of Community Development for the Putnam County Community Foundation before coming to DePauw.
Maggie Hayes
Hall Coordinator, Lucy Rowland Hall
Maggie is Hall Coordinator for Lucy Rowland Hall and has worked at DePauw since the fall of 2010. Maggie is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University. Maggie graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park where she majored in Sociology with a minor in Leadership Studies.
Elena Brooks
Hall Coordinator, Bishop Roberts & College Street Halls
Elena has been the Hall Coordinator for Bishop Roberts Hall at DePauw since August 2010. She is also a graduate student at Indiana University pursuing a Masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs. Elena graduated from Kalamazoo College where she majored in history and American studies. Elena has previously worked in Residential Life at Northwestern University and is originally from Evanston, IL.
Jordan Toy
Hall Coordinator, Humbert Hall
Jordan has worked at DePauw University as a Residence Life Hall Coordinator since the fall of 2010. Currently, Jordan is pursuing a M.S. in Student Affairs and Higher Education at Indiana State University. He is a 2010 graduate of Indiana State University where he received his degree in Communications. Jordan is originally from Loogootee, Indiana.
Connie Sharp
Secretary, Campus Living and Community Development
Connie graduated from Danville High School and has worked for the University since fall of 1997. She serves as a support for all the staff in Campus Living and Community Development.
Linda Wrede
Secretary, Campus Living and Community Development
Linda graduated from Amo High School and has worked for the University since August 1987. She serves as a support for all the staff in Campus Living and Community Development.
