RICHARD O'BRIEN'S Yes, this is THAT Rocky Horror Show - the 1973 stage musical that inspired the cult film. Known for its frank - albeit hilarious - depictions of subjects such as transvestism, homosexuality, and cannibalism, Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show is the story of a newly engaged young couple, Brad and Janet, who set out to surprise their academic mentor with the good news and wind up seeking help for a flat tire from the nearest source: the remote castle of Dr. Frank N. Furter. A gender-bending Frankenstein-like scientist from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania, Dr. Frank N. Furter is giving a party to celebrate his newest creation, Rocky Horror. What transpires is an outrageous ride involving a cast of characters and events beyond Brad and Janet's wildest imaginations. And, yes, audience participation IS encouraged. This production contains adult themes and language and is recommended for mature audiences only. Parental discretion is strongly advised.
