The familiar story of Jo March and her sisters growing up during the Civil War in New England. This performance is taken directly from the 1868-1869 text of Alcott's novel, and features original music by Andrew Simpson, who will be on campus for the opening, offering master classes in composition and in writing music for theatre, including opera composition. 

*This performance is a Theatre for Young Audiences performance being offered for Art Attack, the culminating event for DePauw's annual art's festival ArtsFest:  art & technology.  It is an abbreviated version of the production recommended for ages 6-14.  It is free and open to the public and will last approximately 55 minutes.

This production is recommended for all ages.
