Message from Denise Hayes, Chair of the CCTF

The purpose of DePauw University’s Campus Climate Task Force for Faculty, Staff and Student of Color is to assess the progress of the university’s 20 years of initiatives, policies, programming and recruitment efforts towards creating a diverse learning community.

This committee is fueled by spirited task force members who are committed to providing and creating learning and living opportunities for DePauw students. We believe these efforts will create an educational environment which will allow students to gain culturally diverse and globally aware perspectives.

The Task Force is comprised of students, faculty and administrators and, is reflective of diversity in a variety of ways including but not limited to culture, ethnicity, opinions and academic expertise and experiences.

As Chair of the committee, I invite all members of the DePauw family to participate in our efforts to identify our strengths in diversification, share your stories and join us as we continue the journey towards inclusive excellence!
