Community Relations Task Force: Charge

For the 2007-08 academic year, the Community Relations Task Force will be charged to do the following.

1. Review the 2007 Community Relations Task Force Preliminary Report and consider and validate major recommendations that include:

1. Establishing a community relations “think tank”
2. Hiring a Community Relations Officer
3. Investing monetarily in and providing support for downtown development initiatives
4. Improving education and outreach efforts between DePauw students, faculty, staff and Greencastle citizens
5. Studying, researching and evaluating community relations and the impact on the members of the Greencastle and DePauw communities

• Prioritize the report’s major recommendations and make suggestions for implementation.
