Social Programming Task Force: Charge
For the 2007-08 academic year, the Social Programming Task Force will be charged to do the following.
- Advocate for implementing recommendations made in the Social Programming Task Force May 2007 Preliminary Report. Serve as consultants for social space plans as they move forward.
- Make recommendations for first-year student social options/programs for first semester and Winter Term in light of Greek houses being closed to this population during the evening and weekend hours.
- Work with relevant student organizations (including but not limited to Union Board, SODA, RSA, NPHC, Panhellenic Council, IFC) to conduct an audit of current campus entertainment/social options.
- Make recommendations for a comprehensive marketing plan for student social options/programs that aims to increase awareness of and participation in current social options/programs, including athletic events, and to change the campus ethos of “there is nothing to do at DePauw.”
