One of the main purposes of the conference is to exchange ideas and experiences related to oppression and social injustice.
The conference is primarily for students and put on by students and aims to discuss the role of power and privilege in relation to all forms of oppression and social injustice including, but not limited to:
Classism
Racism
Ageism
Adultism
Heterosexism
Sexism
Gender oppression
Ethnocentrism
Ableism
Anti-semitism
Presentations can reflect, discuss, question, or explain, any issues, examples, theories, activism, or ideas dealing with these topics or any topics reflecting the concept of Power, Privilege and Oppression.
Please submit presentations by October 2008.
