How To Start a Show at D3TV
Some Questions to Start Off With:
- What kind of show do you want to start?
- Entertainment, talk, news, sports, scripted, ect.
- What is the format/premise of your show?
- Characters, set, general plot, segments
- What is the show's name? (Can be changed later)
- Who would be interested in watching this show?
- How do you reach your audience?
- How long will your show be?
- 15 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour
- How often will your show tape?
- Bi-weekly, Weekly, Bi-monthly
- Will your show be live?
- Do you know what equipment/crew you will need? (If not, we can help!)
- What are some questions you have for D3TV that can help you on your way? Ask! We are here to assist you!
After You Have Your Initial Idea
- Get a show application from the D3TV office, or on the web
- Fill it out and Turn it in
- Wait for the D3TV Board of Directors to approve your idea
Once That Happens
- Go to producer meetings with the D3TV Executive Producer and other show producers
- Get a production assistand assigned to you and begin taping
- Meet with the Promotions Directors and think of ideas on how to promote your show
- Watch yourself on D3TV!!!
