Parli-l Email Listserv

The Parli-l is a discussion list through email in which a lot of issues surrounding parliamentary debate are discussed. People raise questions on how to make points of order, questions about tournaments, case construction, etc…

Subscription to the list is free and traffic generally is 3-5 messages per day.

These will all be sent to your address. Note: if you do not check your email for a week, and you're subscribed, you may have several messages in your inbox. Personally, I have a filter set up to where any messages from the list automatically get transferred to a special 'parli' folder and out of the way of my inbox. That way I can read the messages when I have time.

Anyone who subscribes has the right to post, however, remember that your post is 1) going out to around 1000 people and 2) you will be representing the DePauw Debate Team. Please refrain from personal attacks, swearing, or writing messages when you are upset.

There is also a threaded discussion forum for parliamentary debate called "net-benefits." You can find the link to this on our home page.
