5th Annual FITS Summer Workshop

The FITS Summer Workshop (May 27-30, 2003) is a mini-project based program designed to help faculty link methods to course goals. As in the past, it offers a series of plenary sessions, discussion groups & mini-courses focused on developing skills you can use to create a stimulating & effective learning environment in the classroom. Participants will have plenty of time to work on projects and receive one-on-one help from FITS staff and interns. Additionally, facilities will be available for rehearsals & discussion groups.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired the skills and developed a plan to implement effective use of technology for some aspect of a course you teach. You will also acquire familiarity with the resources (staff, hardware & software) available to support that project after the workshop is over.
