    The Indiana Spatial Data Portal provides access to over 400 Gigabytes of GIS data for the state of Indiana. Most datasets can be downloaded free of charge and have no use restrictions. Available datasets include but are not limited to statewide aerial photos, topographic maps, and digital elevation data.

  • Indiana Geological Survey:  http://igs.indiana.edu/
    Among other things, the Indiana Geological Survey (IGS) website has over 170 layers of spatial data available for download, and new layers are being added monthly. From the IGS home page click "Interactive Maps" and then click "A GIS Atlas for Indiana". Or, just browse around the site.

  • Indiana Orthophoto Download Index:  http://pasture.ecn.purdue.edu/~caagis/wellhead/orthos/
    The Indiana Orthophoto Download Index allows users to download digital orthophoto quarter quadrangles for the state of Indiana.

  • Center for Advanced Applications in Geographic Information Systems (CAAGIS):  http://pasture.ecn.purdue.edu/~caagis/
    The CAAGIS site at Purdue includes an Indiana data download site containing statewide topographic maps, aeriel photos, digital elevation maps (DEMs), public lands survey system data, etc. In addition, general and specific GIS information/examples can be found here.

    The Electronic Atlas of Central Indiana provides acces to census data, environmental data, aerial photography, historic maps and other GIS resources for the central Indiana counties of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Madison, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby.
